BAF INSURANCE (CAYMAN) APPOINTS NEW MANAGERS
Georgetown, Grand Cayman. June 10, 2010 – In a sign of the company’s readiness to move forward as a major force in Cayman’s insurance and financial services industry, BAF Insurance Company (Cayman) Limited has appointed Mr. Travis Spicer as Acting General Manager and promoted Mrs. Sandra Pars-Myles to the position of Deputy General Manager.
Mr. Spicer joined the BAF Financial & Insurance (Bahamas) Limited in 2007 as the Branch Manager for their Abaco Island & Cays office in the Bahamas. Travis has extensive financial planning experience having worked in the Banking industry for several years prior to joining the Group. He is an active Rotarian and regular volunteer at his local church. In the role of Acting General Manager, Mr. Spicer will be responsible for the day to day operations of the Company, reporting to Mr. Harvey Stephenson, Chairman of BAF Insurance Company (Cayman) Ltd.
Mrs. Pars-Myles is an experienced and skilled administrator whose expertise proved invaluable during the company’s transition from BAICO, where she has worked for the past 23 years, to BAF in November 2009.
